Express Yourself | Huddersfield

Join us for Express Yourself, responding to a very special collection of Ted Hughes poetry which is archived at Heritage Quays at Huddersfield University.

Looking at selected pieces of hand written & printed poetry as well as the original artwork of illustrators like Leonard Baskin and Ralph Steadman the group will explore expressive drawing on paper using inks, charcoal, taking inspiration from Ted Hughes incredible poetry about animals and nature.  

 The Write Stuff will also respond to the collection and the 2 groups will interact and work towards producing a final piece together.

Sessions take place at:
HOOT Creative Arts
Bates Mill, Milford Street
