Starting March 2026 with poet, Sammy Weaver

Sammy will guide you through a series of inspiring exercises to explore our experiences of place. We’ll discover and reflect upon our place in the world, and the places we carry with us, both real and imagined. We will explore how places can ground us, hold us back or allow us to grow. Make creative writing in any way you like -poetry or prose.

All levels - including beginners - welcome!

This activity takes place via video call on Zoom. You will be sent the link to join before the sessions start.

  • Who can attend? Adults aged 18 or over who live in the Kirklees area.
