Wednesdays at 2pm - 4pm
Our Digital Studio is fully tooled up for you to have a go at making your own music using computers. We'll guide you through all the knowledge and techniques needed. The hardware we use is Windows PCs and the software is Ableton Live 10.
What's happening in the sessions
With hoot in-house musician, Rob Crisp you will record real instruments, sample, edit and loop them, to arrange in your own way. We will also take some of the samples from the two Hoot music groups and use them in new and exciting ways, building a collage of all the sounds and bringing groups from across hoot together in digital patchworks of sound.
Absolutely no experience is needed and all equipment is provided.
