Writing Poems Inspired by Yorkshire with Rose Condo
Yorkshire is full of fantastic poets - from well-known writers like WH Auden and Simon Armitage to new voices from groups like Batley Poets, Say Owt and others. These workshops will delve into some Yorkshire poetry to explore how the words reflect this part of the world, and how we can find inspiration for our own writing.
*23rd June's session will be with poet & writer, Sammy Weaver
- How does this session run? This activity takes place via video call on Zoom and open to all, regardless of experience. Just bring a pen and paper and a willingness to share You will be sent the link to join before the sessions start.
- Who can attend? Adults aged 18 or over who live in the Kirklees area.
