Tuesdays at 10:30am - 12:30pm
There’s a reason why we tap our feet along to a beat - music makes us feel good, helps us express our emotions, and it’s great for our wellbeing. No need to read music and no experience playing instruments needed.
What's happening in the sessions
With hoot in-house musician, Rob Crisp we'll be creating music inspired by drum machines and sampling; building up layers of musical texture from tiny clips, loops and fragments. Listen to music created in this way, see how they have been interprested live and then have a go yourself. We’ll use accessible music technology to create initial tracks, structure, edit and arrange them, add vocals and instrumental layers and then we will play them live together in a safe and supportive group.
Absolutely no experience is needed and all equipment is provided.
